Well it's been almost a year since We have posted anything on our Blog so I decided since I have this new found energy I would try and update the blog and post regularly. Anyways so the last year Ben and I have accomplished a lot!! We moved away from San Diego in May to Beautiful Menifee, CA. We bought our first home and we love it so much!! It is very beautiful, new, and big! The neighborhood has 3 Lakes 8 miles of walking, 2 pools, one big spa, a splash zone, 2 big water slides, 2 parks, and one outside stage! We are so happy with our move to Menifee and We are loving our new friends, ward and home! Ben still has to commute to San Diego everyday, but he's with a vanpool so we actually spend less in gas and travel (since the military will pay for the vanpool) than we did living in San Diego. He says he doesn't mind the commute because he gets to come home to a fun place.
About a month or two after our move we found out I was pregnant. I have to say when I found out I wasn't too thrilled I cried and cried and complained about still nursing Kelly and being pregnant, but after a few days the shock wore off and I decided this was a great time to have another, we had the room in our house and they would be 19 months apart and Kelly would have a friend. (Ben of coarse was thrilled the whole time...he doesn't have to be the one pregnant!)
After finding out about being pregnant Kelly turned ONE!! My cute little baby girl was all grown up...but not walking yet. We had a fun party with some new Menifee friends and family who lived close by. I stopped nursing and that helped with the pregnancy, because I wasn't having to try and eat enough for all three of us and be sick. Kelly didn't seem to mind, but I was sad about her being so old. Time has flown by way to quickly since she was born.
So I was sick and Kelly was a real trooper she would just watch playhouse Disney or play with her toys while I laid on the couch for a couple of months. She would also help me smile and stay positive. While I was sick we decided to go to Idaho with my mom and twin. Ben was so much help and made the experience great for all of us!! I had been worried, but it was a lot of fun camping and Bear Lake with my family...definatly would love to do that again. Kelly and I did one more trip with my parents and sisters and brother to Utah for a family reunion, I was still sick, but We had so much fun and they all helped me so much! We even climbed a Mountain (not recommended when you are pregnant and sick!) That was a very exhausting day, but it's one I and glad I did just to say I did it!!
After Utah we Ben, Kelly and I made another trip to Rocklin to visit Mindy. We had so much fun and Love how awesome it is being Mindy's home and with her and her Family. After we came home we decided that we should take it easy and stay home for a few months since I was so exhausted!!
We have stayed home, but that doesn't mean we haven't been doing anything! In September we spent a week doing fun stuff for Ben's birthday (mostly watching football and having football parties) And I made my weight in apple pies. We also had been working with Kelly and she finally learned to walk. And now she is great at in and getting into EVERYTHING!!
We went to the Doctor in September and had an ultrasound...WE ARE HAVING A BOY!! I was hoping for a girl, since I already have everything girl, but I had a feeling it was a boy...this pregnancy just felt different. And sure enough it was a boy. I thought Eastman boys didn't have boys, but apparently they do! We are excited to be having a boy and I am trying to get use to the idea of buying boy clothes, instead of those oh so cute little girl clothes. We have decided on first name, but are still up in the air about a middle name. His Name will be BROCK. Cute huh? Ben & Brock and Kathryn & Kelly!! TOO FUN! Now I have both so I can be done...well maybe one more!
In October we had Mike and Clarissa and their kids come stay with us we had a lot of fun! We went to Disneyland for a few days and stayed at a nice hotel. It was everyone's first time being there (besides mine) so it was so much fun to watch them experience it all!! It was fun, but a little boring for me, Calvin, Kelly, and Melody cause we couldn't go on all the rides, either too short or pregnant. But it was still tons of fun. Then while they were here I was able to paint, and get my house organized, I was a such a pregnant grump, which I am sorry about, but man was I Productive!! When they left, Kelly woke up the next morning and checked every room in the house, but they were gone. She checked the next day and after some homemade cookies she seemed to be okay. She loved having Calvin to play with (well I guess I should say wrestle with!)
After they went home I had to get the house ready for the next week...THANKSGIVING!!
We had about 14 people over, which doesn't sound like a lot, but when you are 25 weeks pregnant and doing all the cooking it is A LOT of people!!
Thanksgiving was a success and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the food, so I was very happy!!
Black Friday we braved the crowds (at 7am) and got some great deals! Now we are just trying to organize our Christmas stuff, and get ready for Christmas.
My Family is coming for Christmas so I have a lot of decorating, bed planning, and organizing to do. I have to fit all 16 of us in my house, and 3 little dogs, and 2 big dogs!! It's going to be a fun challenge! BRING IT ON!!!!!
Well that's pretty much the last year summed up.
I promise to keep up on our posts so I don't have so much to write next time.

Kelly is getting so big!!
We went to the doctor today for Kelly's shots and a well-baby appointment. The doctor said she is doing very well. She is 18 lbs (in the 90th percentile) and 27 1/2 inches (in the 97th plus percentile) She is so healthy and very smart for her age. She had shots and cried when the nurse gave them to her, but a minute later she looked at the nurse and smiled. She is such a sweetheart. She never holds a grudge especially if you will give her attention. She loves people! And she loves anyone who will interact with her. We are so blessed to have our sweet Kelly!

Kelly @ 6 months
Hey well we wanted to update everyone on our little family. We had a fun first Christmas with Kelly. She is growing up so fast. She sits up by herself and stands holding on to things. She now has two teeth as of yesterday, and she is ALWAYS smiling! She is the happiest baby I've ever seen. She waves and will sometimes say hi when you greet her. She likes to attack Zoe and loves being with her. She loves her daddy, but she thinks mom is the best!! :) She eats ANYTHING she can get her hands on! She loves growling and talking. She hates going to bed if she thinks we are playing. She'll keep waking up every half hour until we turn off all the lights in the house and she sees mom in bed, then she will let dad put her in the crib and she will sleep through the night. She is very stubborn and likes things to go exactly as she wants. She will let you know if you are doing anything she doesn't approve of. She doesn't like when anyone watches her except, Mom, Dad, and Aunt Twinner, (who she thinks is her other mom). She loves Papa Gary, and is warming up to Grandma Joy. She loves being with her cousin Jon, who she thinks is her brother and her property, which he thinks she's his property. They hug and kiss when they aren't stealing from each other or fighting over everything. She loves to swim and splash everyone. She laughs all the time. She hates being alone, and loves to be where all the people are. We all call her Tyne-Tyne or Tynies. She doesn't usually respond to Kelly. We went up to the Big Bear Mountain before Christmas and played in the snow. She loved it. She would stick out her tongue and eat it. She hates to be cradled, and prefers standing. Kelly is a perfect baby girl! We can't believe it's only been 6 months, because, we can't and don't want to remember life without her. Kelly is our world! We love her more than anything!!
